Hello! Hello! Hello Everybody! Welcome to a new lesson to learn English vocabulary and grammar perfectly.
One interesting learning method is the freeze method. That simply means that when you're speaking English and you feel that you have made a mistake, you freeze i.e. you stop and you try to see the mistake that you made. Then you try to immediately correct that mistake. You can do this once, twice or a few times until you eliminate that mistake. Here is an example mistake:
Something else that is very important is for you to expand your vocabulary. In order to do this you need to start thinking about different levels of formality, as I call it, or as English teachers call it your register: how formally or informally you are speaking. one example would be when you are talking about likes and dislikes. So let's say that you are eating some food that someone has prepared for you. In a more formal register you could say, “I'm sorry I don't care for that food”, and in a much less formal register you could say, “that food sucks”.
