Hello! Hello! Hello everybody, welcome to your English lesson. Today I'm going to be talking about some things that many English Learners have difficulty using: neither and so, double negatives, subject-verb agreement and conditional sentences. Of all these grammar points, the one that I want to talk about the most is neither and so. It's a grammar point that a lot of people have studied once or twice. They understand it and then they put it in a drawer somewhere and forget about it. Then when they come to use it, they don't know how to use it. So for example:
John: I'm hungry
Jane: So do I. (incorrect)
This is a very common mistake, one that I see every day. whenever you're using the verb be then you should use so am I. In my video Lesson above you will learn much more.
